Really hate calling out my own draftees as sleepers but i was extreamly happy to getting the dilly man at 15, and being able to send him to the ndl. i also think the jesses pick at 14 for Carter could turn out super well. some other standouts i like are Ryan Dunn at 25, love a dude who is gonna take care of the ball. bronny james at 6 was a wild call imo but to each their own

I think Sheppard was the right pick at #1. Not sure what to think about CMB but thought it was a fun trade between SAC and TOR. Thought Quentin Post probably should have gone higher, NDL is going to be great for him.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Happy Pat Williams re-signed for a cheap deal! Keeping basically the same core for now.. may need to make moves on the perimeter; too many solid guys and not enough minutes.

Need Herro to take a leap. Very excited for Garuba and Minott to play some real minutes!

Atlantic: Bullets! Core is great
Central: Always PACERS
Midwest: Mavs, assuming they retain Embiid
Pacific: Suns!

Spurs are terrible. Celtic are good, but old firms this year have been embarrassing. Warriors are fun again with Jimmy, he might be the first warriors jersey i buy in almost 10 years.

Finished Severance (very good, but not in the same "great" tier as Succession) and looking for something new!

Central: Bulls. The Hanessians will be duking it out in the east for another season or two.

2023-24 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

No thoughts really. Didn't have a first so didn't give it much thought. I like Lil Buzi Vert at 8 though he's a stud.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

I'm super pumped to have gotten Fultz back. Got lucky that there was really only the Rockets that had enough space to give him an offer. It was nice to see he was near the top of all of his ratings too amongst others with the same ratings especially after having a few TCs where he went down.

I'd like to sneak into the playoffs. Feels like I should be able to get there without any major injuries.

3. Thoughts on TC?

Have a please hold on mindset for most of my guys. The only people that I think have a chance to get better are Sandro and Mark Williams but don't have high expectations for them really.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Bullets. KD. I think they should be able to run it back.
Central: Bulls should win comfortably.
Midwest: I think I like the Mavs despite Joel leaving. Nolan and the Rockets are gonna make a serious jump though.
Pacific: Clips. Why not us. Actually like our top 8 players a lot.

I'd say they should participate in the next Bonnie Blue gangbang but Nick would be beyond ready to disappear next offseason if that was the case.

Juan Espil was a problem, people forget.

I still think the Timberwolves should break up the Kat Giannis duo but it has been said. I know a lot of GMs would love to have Derrick Jones Jr.

I'm super ignorant when it comes to much watch movies so I'm trying to knock off some classics. Watched No Country for Old Men last weekend and it rocked. Could've done without the multiple dead dogs but aside from that loved it. Not watching anything particularly unique right now. Righteous Gemstones which is eh this season.

I thought Sheppard was the right 1 and CMB seems to be the right 2 from this, heck even Clingan had a sick TC. those top 3 are gonna be nice. I think Devin Carter is going to be mini mitten. Alex Sarr might bust given hes a weird cat

We kinda swung out on some FAs and some bigs. Our roster is kinda poopy so we will probably try to bottom out and retain a top4 protected pick

Coulda gone better, would've loved to see Ausar hit B- outside. these SFs take too long to develop. happy steph held the line, he is prime to help any other team

Atlantic: Bullets - reigning champs still very good, potentially better
Central: Bulls - did not lose anyone, JW gets better, and Luka's second defense camp is ridiculous
Midwest: Rockets- my hot take is Nolan can piece somethign together and make a run for the division
Pacific: Suns - full year of AG will help

Binged Paradise on Hulu with the GF and we enjoyed it. White Lotus S3 was good, i dont get the hate. Anora was good but was not better than Dune 2 and in no way shouldve won best picture.

Filip Jovic is my kind of guy. Love that pick and his style of play next to Baz’s.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

I feel nothing. Could’ve moved trae for a decent package before camps but I panicked and decided cap space is of utmost importance. Goal this season is to be spicy. We won’t be buyers and are willing to sell some pieces but for the most part want to keep value on the roster. With enough cap space for a max plus, next offseason seems to be as good a year as any for us to make some moves.

SGA +1 Inside is a lovely sight. Caleb Martin also went +1 inside which gives me hope he can have a jump on scoring production. TJD could be a disgusting rebounder one day. KD and Tyreke seemed to have negative TCs. I still think they are going to ball but glad to sell when I did.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Bullets - KD is still here
Central: Bulls - best team in the league
Midwest: Mavs - love their recent string of deals
Pacific: Suns - say less

a classic interview style where on GM interviews a bunch of GMs but as an SLNTV personality.

Go Pats. After the Pats FA it looks like they’ll take a tackle with their first pick - whether that’s at 4 or a trade back scenario. The only problem I have with that is neither of the tackles are true LTs. Campbell has some short arms. He measured at under 33 inch arms. I believe at the end of last season only 3 linemen getting PT had under 33inch arms. To me - Campbell projects more as a guard and unless he’s Zach Martin i think that’s a bad selection for #4. Then there’s Membou who is a RT so that’s an immediate no for me dawg. You don’t take a player that is a) an exception or b) maybe can slide over to LT. that’s has failed too many times for me to be comfortable with. I think hunter and carter go 2 and 3 but boy do i hope one falls. If not then id be very happy with one of a few outcomes. First, they double up on pass catchers and grab Tet McMillan. 4.48 at his size is downright disgusting and put up at least 1300 yards each of the last 3 seasons with bad quarterback play. Tyler Warren is the other pass catcher that fits incredibly well in mcdaniels offense. Second, they hit defensive line selecting Mason Graham and showcase the best young line in the league. Keion White, Milton Williams, Christian Barmore, Mason Graham . Third, select Jeanty and take pressure off the QB by running the shit out of the ball. Jeanty/Stevenson combo would be electric but in a deep RB draft this is by far the least likely and worst value drafting a RB so high. But these scenarios only works if they trade up using #38 and next years 2nd to select the best tackle available. Gimme some sugah.
