Strengths: Very pure scorer. Finishes well in the paint and has an excellent jump shot. Very good quickness. Should get a steal a game. Okay defender on the perimeter.
Weaknesses: While a good shooter, range is limited. Beyond the arc needs work. Not very strong. Not a good rebounder.
Scout's Take: Rip Hamilton comes in ready to do what he does best - score the ball. One of the best shooters inside the arc the league has seen to date, Hamilton should fit right in on a team that needs the extra scoring spark. Defense leaves a lot to be desired, but teams around the league still feel he makes up for it well. Should be a good starter.
