Young Damp is going to a force on the inside, similar mold to Shaq. Picks 3-15 could go in so many different directions that it’ll be fun to see what happens.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Have some tricky free agency things we need to navigate. Very willing to start rebuilding and move some of my more established players if I can get some younger guys/draft capital. Not going to blow it up for nothing but HMU if you like anything I got!
3. Thoughts on TC?
MPJ getting to A A+ offense would be a wet dream. Ant improving a little would be nice. AD hopefully continues to hold the line.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Celtics, they have some young guys that should continue to improve. Merv seems more likely to rebuild so think they’ll take a half step back and clear the way for the Cs
Central: Raptors, still their year but Hawks and Cavs will provide good competition
Midwest: Jazz? By far the hardest division to pick and honestly I could see any team winning except the Twolves. Mavs retooling after trading Luka, Rockets stars are aging (an aging Joel might be a good thing), Griz are solid but one piece away from really competing, Spurs had a weird down year but still have some studs and an old fuck who needs to gtfo, and the Nuggets who are now forced to get to 41 wins so should make some kind of move
Pacific: Clippers, its Darryn Peterson’s league now. Also the Lauri trade and current deal he's on is amazing, especially after seeing some of his box scores in the playoffs.

Generational talent doesn't do this man enough justice. Jayden Daniels has all the tools to be the absolute cornerstone of any franchise and a future Hall of Famer. He is the unquestioned #1 pick and the best player to enter the draft to date.

Jayden Daniels is HIM. Looks like our defense improved too but taking it with a grain of salt since the Giants and Russ already look cooked. Very excited for the measuring stick game against the Packers tonight.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
This was a hard draft — thin at the top and then a huge middle class of players. I'm sure some guys will pop but it was interesting to see which players people valued. I wanted to take a couple of inexpensive development flier in the 30s, happy with our two guys and curious if we can mine some more value out of that part of the draft. I love this era of drafts just because it's a lot harder to figure out without much if any subtext of reality behind these guys.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I've been preparing to lose Ayton in free agency — he's such a great player that we prob won't be able to really replace what he brings, but it's a fun challenge to tinker a bit with the bench and style of play within the constraints of our cap sheet and see what happens. Not planning to make any major moves until I see how we look without Deandre so it'll probably be quiet on the trade front for a while. But I think we'll have a good chance to contend again barring anything weird happening and I'm very attached to this team, we will start five homegrown players next season which feels cool.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Let's not get worse.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic, even if someone gets traded I expect they'll be really good again
Central: Raptors, the division should be challenging - Bulls/Pacers upgrading, Bucks don't have their pick, Hawks and Cavs are tough
Midwest: Feels wide open, I'll go with Dallas, old and expensive roster but a lot of talent
Pacific: Suns, I think the Brandon McCoy-Darryn Peterson Pacific rivalry is coming and will be a fun subplot

2026-27 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Felt like a weak draft on paper which makes me more convinced than anything that there are going to be some gems. Saw an opp to buy into the late first round and had some cap space and NDL spots available so took a swing on the Cool Man, seems like a guy who profiles well for NDL awards. Really liked Amari Williams and Colton Hiller too.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Pretty annoyed that Nerlens retired at what felt like still the height of his power, so we need to fill his large shoes, but we're returning the rest of the core and bringing up Isaiah Evans from the NDL with another year of gains, so super excited for that. We missed the division title by a couple games after leading it for a lot of the season, so the goal this year is to win it and get back to the ECF.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Hope the old fellas survive (cmon KD!) and the young fellas thrive as usual. Would love to see a major pop from Evans and Coolman, otherwise feel good about the trajectory of the Disgusting Brothers (Chet and Reed). Any pops anywhere would be sweet after the clobbering we've taken the last couple camps.

Atlantic: Celtics! Hopefully the Magic blow it up but even if they retool, we will now also have to contend with the new look Nets. This division is never guaranteed - annoying!
Central: Raptors. This team is just like all top 30 guys on rookie maxes, so I don't see this changing any time soon.
Midwest: The Spurs I think? Tough to tell with this division.
Pacific: Clips! Provided Bobby can retain his guys I like them to come out of the West again.

Barron Trump PF 18 6'9" 195 C+ C+ D+ B- C B. Decent shotblocking ability but lacks in the rebounding and strength department. Incredibly slow. Eastern European genes grant him a feathery jumpshot but he lacks the quickness to get it off. Likes his suitcase.

I think this draft was meant to look "bad" but will end up being very good. Think there's going to be more players who are solid contributors out of the box. IMO there was a clear top 6 and they more or less went in the order expected. Very excited about Cerdan; Lusakueno could be cool but the profile is so high risk high reward. Not really sure what to think about Sheppard; I liked him but think he could also be Bobby Portis.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Excited to try to win again. Tanking sucks. Really excited to see how Labaron and Sinan sim in the big leagues! This season, would like my pick to land in the 20s.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Progression from Labaron, Hansen, Lopez, Cerdan, and Sinan would be huge. Really excited to see where Dan Jake DA GOAT lands after his supercamp. A lot of young guys, a lot of RP, hoping I have a starting 5 of homegrown players at the minimum.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic again, unless Chad gets bored and blows it up
Central: Raptors... but really Pacers
Midwest: Think the Mavs will be there again if they figure out the DC. Kind of an awkward AG/Turner fit.
Pacific: Clippers! Peterson is unreal

'28-'29 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Im sorry guys I think this was the least ive ever paid attention to a draft but I really did like baby Damp and his notes, think he has the highest floor of anyone in the draft and was an easy number one pick to make.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Relatively pleased, while it was painful to trade KAT mid season, I had to move his contract because of course Lebron didnt retire, I would have been in absolutely cap hell. Lebron is now on the move, and while it was nice having him as a backup PG, getting locked into his must start stip at age 45 is brutal when I have an abundance now of usable wings.
3. Thoughts on TC?
I would love to see DQ and melo improve a little over the hood after getting the boosts. I know some guys moved during the season but im hoping they really take when camps are run.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic, still so good
Central: Raps are the champs till they aint the champs anymore
Midwest: Spurs, think lebron out the door we can be a little more flexible in what we're trying to do
Pacific: Clips are the championship front runners this year

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Kind of a two player draft? Went back and forth with Clinton a bit about who I'd take at 1. I think Dampier was probably the right choice but also looked at Bamba's profile and immediately thought he was the guy. Happy to get a high variance high ceiling guy at 4 although really could be a swing and a miss
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Happy to bring the young guys back on what should be marketable deals. A full season of KAT at the 4 should really steady us in terms of scoring and rebounding. Edge might be ready to do ~25ppg which would be great, and then I'm happy to have Brandon Miller as the off the bench third option. I think we'll be around 500 depending on other teams and moves around the margins, but the Pacific looks like it might be tough. We'll see!
3. Thoughts on TC?
Really would like to see some pops from my high upside fellas. Hoping that either Bogie takes a leap forward or Sullie doesn't die. Any ground VJ can make on efficiency or volume would be great.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Nets. AD / Luka / Flagg is a lot of firepower!
Central: Raptors. Incumbents, and they got Deandre back?
Midwest: Spurs I guess? Grizzlies should contend, so should the Jazz, but they appear to be way over the HC so not sure what's happening there.
Pacific: Clippers. It's Darryn's world.
