Warriors 2025-26 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Passing on the basis i still have to finish my article.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Draft didnt go according to plan(s). Getting rid of salary didnt go according to plan. MO BAMBA RESIGNING FOR THE LOWish was perhaps one of the least likely positive outcomes i have ever received in SLN and i am very thankful. Goals every season currently are to win a championship. Hoping for the best, even if its a bad year, at least FA was a positive.

3. Thoughts on TC?
Pre-TC thoughts hmmm. Be cool if Egor, after a season learning behind Jrue and Delly, takes another step forward as my future PG. I expect Tatum to not show any ratings increase at this point(always hopeful though). Wonder what Precious will do with his B pot. The Zu is one of my all time favorites, so i hope he grinds knowing he has a home in the Bay. Yeah idk, just positive vibes for the squad.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Magic, i am beyond ready to see Murray in a mickey mouse hat after each win.
Central: Raptors, i think last szn was a precursor to pure domination of the Central for a couple seasons.
Midwest: Spurs are the sexy pick rn but ill go with the Nuggets or Rockets.
Pacific: Warriors, gotta get one eventually right? RIGHT?!? 😭

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?
Mac Dre is never shot in SLNverse. Thus becoming the greatest rapper in the Bay and a world wide sensation. Is he lisan-al-gaib? Idk but is the space pope reptilian(iykyk)? Thats what i thought!

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!
Amuricuh: Bamba, Bamba, Bamba, Bamba, Kyrie
RoW: Embiid, Jokic, Wemby, Shai, Luka

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?
Delly? Maybe Bamba? Blatche? Monta? I guess Monta feels like my first real player. He was my first experience of dealing with offers from snipe artists before his SC hit. I think with Delly, i just love that he has always been good enough while at the same time disrespected whenever i bring his name up. I honestly dont know why i fell for Mo lol. I usually love my players that no one else fucks with but Mo is just good so yeah haha. Real love for Mo became SLN favoritism as well.

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!
Master Chief: If DRAFTED to the same team as Cortana, you are given one scout of a single rating for each player as long as they stay on the same team. You may choose to give a +3 increase to that rating to only one of them. Instantly max potential for both players post draft.

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Well the Ravens cut Tucker in a shiesty way but ay, at least they finally did it. Not winning the lottery and getting put down to 6th was the most NBA hates the Wizards thing…aka fully expected lol. Uhm caps were only riding for Ovi’s record. Go Nats? Lol. Yea i follow more but ill stop here.

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Mickey 17 was a pretty good watch. Manty and I played some super fun Zelda/Dungeon runner RPG type on the PS5 that i cant recall the name of but is a super cracked out good time.

Bonus: add a pic/gif of how you feel about your season

2025-26 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

Nate Ament will be fun. I think some late first-round guards (such as Bennett Stirtz) will be interesting soon.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

Incremental progress! We had a lot of talks that fizzled out, but sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't take. It's a calculated risk taking on Sabonis, and this could be followed up with another move.

We strongly philosophically reject the notion that we should step back for fear of the strong East. If anything, this is a good chance to learn and get an understanding of what it takes to win against the best.

Our goal is to lay the foundation for a steady winner.

3. Thoughts on TC?

Let's make Cooper a better ball-handler.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks - too unstoppable offensively.
Central: Bulls - Have the wind at their backs with Luka returning (we wanted the power balance to shift!)
Midwest: Rockets - I'm a huge fan of how this roster is constructed. Good balance.
Pacific: Kings - they'll come out firing again.

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?

Jay-Z is an investor.

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!

American

Kyrie - I didn't know he was born in Australia
Brunson
Gordon
Turner
Towns

Rest of the World

Murray
Doncic
Jokic
Hachimura
Embiid

Tried to be a little creative - there are some knowledge gaps. Team America (coached by Rick Carlisle) tries some stylistic quirks here and gets throttled 145-125 anyway.

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?

Thomas Haugh was my first-ever pick and I'm excited to see the Gator contribute.

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!

Canadian Content: for a 2nd Canadian-born player added to your roster, both receive a Handles boost.

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).

I'm an Orioles fan so uh ****. Charlie Morton is a Warrior.

My real-life Raptors are rudderless; Masai is a grifter. Missing Kawhi and hoping this lazy front office tries something similar to land a big fish.

Northwestern Wildcats basketball: Martinelli returns, top recruiting class is back, let's see if the Penn transfer Sam Brown can establish himself on the wing.

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.

Watched some Kurosawa movies and had nightmares. Might be time for a comedy. New Wes Anderson out: very excited as "Asteroid City" was one of my all-time favorites. Historically underrated.

2025-26 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

I have insane FA luck so theres no complaining here but every Spurs lotto pick in the top 10 has only ever moved back. So when it happened for the second consecutive season during a tank it was definitely a bummer. I felt like there was a pretty big dip after 4 so dropping to 7 was a pretty huge bummer. I was targeting Koa Peat until I traded the pick to Jesse who ultimately moved up 1 slot to get him after a spicy combine. If I had won the lotto it wouldve been a tough decision between Peterson and AJ. I had a potential franchise PG already but ultimately in a vacuum I think Peterson was the right pick at 1.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
ZESTY with a capital Z. Made a couple of big moves with some more to come. We welcomed in franchise PG and former MVP Lamelo Ball and signed KAT in FA adding them to a core of Jaden McDaniel and Gradey Dick. After moving back a total of 7 spots in the lotto the last two seasons I think this was a relatively amazing outcome.

3. Thoughts on TC?
I've never had anyone truly pop in TC but im hoping something special happens with Derik Queen, hell make a fun front court pairing with KAT.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks as long as Kyrie wants to keep playing ball.
Central: Raps with a full year of Joker
Midwest: Spurs - more deals on the way.
Pacific: Suns - Fultz

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?

Image

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!
PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Fultz
SF: Myles Turner
PF: Aaron Gordon
C: Joel Embiid (He's American now)

PG: Luka
SG: SGA
SF: Rui
PF: Wemby
C: Joker

International might take that home. Ashes should sim this!

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?
Easily Melo - favorite player growing up from my favorite era of the NBA.

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!
Something about locker room chemistry. Call it the Gilbert Arenas stip.

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Knicks Pain Jordo sad.

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Waiting for CFB to drop

2025-26 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
I really wanted Dame Sarr at 30 once I started looking at the draft. So thanks for stealing the guy I wanted once again Mr. Kipke, ya done did it again. Stirtz was really interesting but less so when I realized those handles keep him from the NDL. My top 4 was Darryn/AJ/Ament/Boozer. I think this draft has 2003 draft potential.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Free the 🛴 !! I think we'll be pretty good, all comes down to the biggest resignings of my SLN career.

3. Thoughts on TC?
Let 🛴 cook! Would be great to see some other growth from our properly aged fellas and to see Dwight Powell avoid full death.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Magic, 🛴
Central: Raptors, Wemby busted
Midwest: Spurs, it is #SpursYear
Pacific: Kangz, Jesse always cooks

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?
You guys know Mickey and Minnie have courtside seats right? In this universe, Tiger never had the whole chased by Elin with a golf club incident and still lives in Isleworth sitting courtside at Magic games.

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!

USA:
Fultz
Kyrie
Semi
Bazley
AD

World:
Luka
SGA
Murray
Rui
Wemby

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?
It's clearly going to be 🛴. Him not included, probably Yi Jianlian, first pick in my franchise history

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!
I want the Zion diet stip. There's a weigh in each season and based on the dice roll, certain traits like strength, quickness, jumping go up or down

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
EUROPA CHAMPIONS. North London is white

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Watch Andor, Jordo hasn't stopped sending me Andor content since it ended.

2025-26 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Didn't pay a lot of attention to the draft this year but Darryn looks pretty awesome. Liked Nate more than Cam cause he looks like the better option at the 3. Maybe I am just scarred but it feels like FBB hates PFs and they always end up with major flaws. I like Yanic Konan Niederhauser's name.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Expecting this offseason to be pretty boring. Goal is to run it back and try to win the West again. I think we got fairly unlucky with injuries and W/L compared to our differential. The West can't get any worse, so it'll be tough to stay on top.

3. Thoughts on TC?
Hope nobody dies!

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks. Kyrie is king
Central: Raps. Will be best team in the league
Midwest: 🚀🚀. The Midwest still stinks but Jordo makes me nervous
Pacific: Suns. Another year of Harper and Cooper 🇫🇷

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?
Queen Bey to inspire our players.

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!
Kyrie
Lavine
Turner
Isaac
AD

Luka
Murray
Rui
Tingus
Embiid

Nothing gets Kyrie going like his hatred for non-Americans. USA by a million

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?
I unironically think it is Julian Wright. Maybe Jamal Crawford but I traded him for absolutely nothing before he hit his peak which left a bitter taste. Still love Risacher and wish I could've kept him longer. Think I might have the worst draft day track record in the league.

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!
Has a rare disease causing him to shrink. Every season height will be reduced by 1".

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
I need Jayden Daniels on my tv again! Disappointing way to end but Caps were fun this year.

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Mickey 17 was v weird and slightly disappointing. Sinners was awesome. Friendship is great if you love Tim Robinson and less great if you don't like him. MIP Final Reckoning is criminally long with an absurd amount of exposition but I still have fun watching Tom Cruise be a mad man.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Pumped to stay top 3 and land AJ. Having a low turnover guy in Cleveland is a dream come true. I think the top 5 is going to be good, and petersen looks like an absolute unit already. Ament is going to be very fun too.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
We landed another young big. Really trying to form a young dynasty, though that has been our goal for a very long time and havent hit it just yet. We want to be a little better but still take advantage of our last year being an eligible tanker

3. Thoughts on TC?
N/A - expecting huge gains from AJ, Thompson, and hoping for other gains from the youngins - we picked up a lot of young guys and hope for a great NDL TC too

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks - run it back with Kyrie though the Magic shouldnt be far behind
Central: Raptors - Jokic x Wemby is ridiculous - Bulls not far behind after retaining luka
Midwest: Rockets still - though spurs and nugs close
Pacific: Kings just made the WCF so would be silly to rule them out. Suns and Warriors are right there

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?
I guess the goddamn Kelce brothers cuz they are ohio natives- def not the Paul brothers, fuck those guys

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!

USA
Brunson
Lavine
Turner
Gordon
AD

World
Kyrie
SGA
Jokic (he a SF right?)
Zingus
Embiid

I think World takes it

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?
Eddy Curry - no idea he would end up being an absolute unit, was a dart of taking a flawed high pot guy late

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!
two brothers but if they play together, one takes all of the other ones powers and makes an amazing player and left with another shitty player. Kinda like when a twin eats most of the nutrition in the womb

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Wizards got absolutely shafted in the draft lotto. Too far away from the season for redskins talk but im hopeful, just a really tough schedule this year. Nova is lining up a bunch of good talented teams for the coming seasons, making me hopeful we will be tourney bound again

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Just finished Spider Man 2 (the game) last night. Fucking incredible. Started up Hogwarts Legacy with the GF last week, so far seems pretty cool. Excited to watch the 2nd season of Andor, everyone says its amazing. And almost finished the 2nd season of Severance, some weird but entertaining shit
FOR THE LAND - believe!

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

I thought Peterson was the right pick at 1 (B inside for a rookie PG is almost fail-proof to me) and BPA but also felt this was one of the best top lottery groups in a long time. Feel like many people are sleeping on Yessoufou — I had the top of the draft as a five-player tier and he wasn't 5 for me, so was totally happy selecting wherever as long as it was top five figuring he would be there. Need TC luck but I think his rebounding at SF in this era of SLN is immensely valuable and makes him a fun if unorthodox blue-chip prospect. Think there was a lot of value in the middle of the draft overall and some of these guys will pop. Clippers made good picks I thought especially.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

I'm not expecting to be especially active trade-wise for the time being — hoping we'll get continued strong internal development considering the entire team other than Jokic is under 30. Would like to run it back with the same group, at least at the outset of next season just because the roster/DC synergy felt so strong last time around. I expect we'll be in the thick of it again and would love to at least make it back to the ECF and win the division again.

3. Thoughts on TC?

Hope Jokic has a bounce-back TC after last year but I'm not particularly worried about him since he got the +20 pot boost from Tyler. Obviously want our main young stars to keep improving, but also very hopeful we'll get big jumps from Kasparas and Tounde (both of whom I think have a shot at earning bench rotation minutes next season). Also very invested in Nolan Traore aka French Reed Sheppard.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: I think this is neck and neck between the Knicks and Magic. Whichever team ends up healthier wins 55-60. I'd go NYK on paper.
Central: Raptors, hoping we'll be even better with a full year of this team in place
Midwest: Spurs, arrow pointing up for that roster, think they give the Rockets a good run for it
Pacific: Torn between Kings and Suns, would guess both teams make moves, I'll take Sac, feel like Jesse has tons of ammo to upgrade and will.

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?

Drake got banned from the arena after spilling buttery popcorn all over team ambassador Antonio Daniels. He's been replaced by Avril Lavigne

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!

Kyrie/Turner/Gordon/Davis/Embiid (he's Team USA now) vs Luka/Jamal/Porzingis/Wemby/Jokic, I'd take the world team

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?

The Anthony Parker pick panning out was what really started my SLN addiction so he has a special place in my heart. But my true favorite is probably Amen, it's been incredibly fun watching him develop into my platonic ideal for a wing and was glad he stayed. I love all my sons (Wemby I love but has been less surprising in how he's evolved) but Amen has been the most fun to develop.

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!

Maybe a stip where a player has performance thresholds that lead to potential boosts? Could be fun.

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).

Feeling weird Bears and Cubs optimism rn

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.

I loved Sinners

2025-26 Offseason Questionnaire

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

Fascinated to see how Darryn Peterson develops - I thought he and Nate Ament were in a tier of their own at the top 2 and I think you can make an argument for either based on scouts (I don't know what position Ament plays yet but there definitely is at least one position where he'll excel). Also liked the Omarion Dickerson pick by Jwoo, feels like a good find given his pedigree / stats.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

There was exactly one objective this season, and that mission was accomplished. Glad to see Luka returning home - we basically have 2-3 more years of what I hope will be a very competitive team before we have to start considering tearing it down. Unfortunately, that window coincides with the Knicks super team and the Raptors prime years with Jokic soo...we'll see.

3. Thoughts on TC?

My team is pretty old, so just looking for everyone to hold the line to some extent. This TC is one of the least anticipated in recent memory for me.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks, superteam
Central: Bulls! Lottttta Raptors love in this thread so far, which is deserved, but I'm very excited to be the underdog in the division. Think we were pretty unlucky last year in close games and having Steven Adams is huge to protect against regular season injuries.
Midwest: Spurs! If there's one thing Porzingis and KAT have in common its that they both like the big ol women down in San Antonio
Pacific: Kings - team is really weird and really good

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?

It's probably Larry Sanders' family - they've been with us in Chicago for so long I'm sure the wife and kids would be Chicago royalty by now. Only issue is the probably would have to sit upper deck because Larry just isn't particularly well off. Hopefully humility runs in the family

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!

Kyrie / Otto / Turner / Isaac AD vs. Luka / Murray / someone at SF / Wemby / Jokic

World and it's not close methinks

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?

Boring answer but Luka...haven't really made very many draft picks in SLN. It sure as hell aint Matt Harpring

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!

Hidden stip - every time that player's name is mentioned on the boards by a GM other than the one who owns the player, he gets +2 potential. If you share the stip you get kicked out of the league

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
I basically became a Knicks fan for this playoff run since it's just been so long since I've had meaningful basketball to root for - and it was equally debilitating. Maybe I'm the problem?

Very excited for the Bears this season, although I'm kinda over the camp reports that "Ben Johnson is working with Caleb on his body language". I'm not saying that's not important but like...can we work with him on hitting a deep ball?

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.

Watching The Rehearsal for the first time, people are wild

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
TP snipered Stirtz right in front of my face. Was in tough spot trying to balance RP shortage with current team position. Like Greer but we'll see. Also sneaky pumped on Lowe in the second round rating wise

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Bummed we lost Bonga but that was way too much money for him. Nice to have Sengun on a small discount. Need to find another wing. Very meh

3. Thoughts on TC?
TBD! Please take another step Sengun. Hold on Harden. Ryan Dunn let's ride brother

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks with Kyrie back
Central: Bulls - done it a bunch and for same reasons Matt said, underperformed their PD last year imo
Midwest: Rockets - still like Jojo and the boiz here
Pacific: Kangz - Jesse will figure some shit out from his nice pieces

5. Much has been made about Timothee Chalamet becoming the new Spike Lee for the Knicks. In the SLN universe, who would be the celebrity superfan that sits courtside at all your games and why?
DJ Khaled. Jumped on the bandwagon when we won the title and is now a joke for sticking around as long as he has while we mire in mediocrity

6. Draft a starting 5 of the best American players in SLN, and a starting 5 from "Rest of the World." Who would win? SLN production only!
USA: Kyrie / Lavine / AG / Turner / AD
World: Luka / Murray / Rui/ Wemby / Jokic

I think it's closer than people think! Kyrie and Turner are DAWGS

7. Who's your favorite player you ever drafted and why?
If Shaq counts then Shaq. Definitely NOT Dame or Bradley Beal lmao.

8. Come up with a creative stip concept for a player - maybe Ashes will be inspired to include them in future drafts!
If *insert lotto pick* misses over 82 cumulative games during course of a rookie contract then contract can be renewed for one extra year at cost of final season of rookie deal

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Nothing going on this front. Mizzou, Blues, and Arsenal all hibernating

10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Watch The Pitt. Also was gifted this converstaion starter game called Hygge, pretty solid
