MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Scottie Barnes. In addition to being a very interesting prospect and developing some efficiency this year, he also turned the ball over a lot and directly aided the tanking efforts. Gonna have to work on the turnovers a bit but Scottie was kind of the perfect fit for us.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Dyson Daniels. Guy averaged two steals a game out of the box as a rookie while we ran a slower pace with lesser trap/press. We didn't play a ton of defense overall but he's promising!
MOST IMPROVED: Scottie. Huge jump in inside scoring made him a lot more effective overall while we ran balanced. Honorable mention Okoro who took a leap in steals despite being a C defender.
SIXTH MAN: Amen Thompson. Super promising rookie year while uncamped, high hopes for him in the long run
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Actually winning the lottery, goes without saying
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Trading Darius Bazley right before he turned into a lord
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Didn't make any big moves so I guess it was just the guys we drafted who all seem fun
REGRETS: None, excited to see some box scores

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Fox!!! Finally starting to break out, shooting >51% was awesome.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Drummond. Pacers legend, anchoring our defense for a decade now
MOST IMPROVED: Gotta be Fox. Shooting 5% higher than last season at higher volume and lower TOs was exactly what we needed.
SIXTH MAN: Didn't have a single consistent 6th man this year, but i think it'd be Herro. Continues to shoot the lights out, going to take the leap this year (I can feel it!)
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Fox that much of a leap forward in shooting efficiency
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Isaiah Stewart still sucking. Going to need something from him this season!!
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Haven't really altered my core in the past couple seasons... think it'd have to be Oden and Gay unretiring
REGRETS: Not trading Oden and Gay this season. Thought I had a better team than I actually did!

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Kevin Durant
KD attempted the most shots in a single season to date and had the highest 3pt% of his career. He scored 37.2PPG on 48% efficiency and still KD somehow shot 4% better from the field last season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DeAndre Jordan
A Hawks legend. We have never seen a man so good at defense around these parts. He's a guaranteed 3 blocks, 1 steal, and a whole lot of boards per game. We will miss him a lot this year.
MOST IMPROVED: Caleb Martin
Put some respek on this guys name. Martin used to do a lot of fartin until he got to startin. We played as the super-sub for much of the 2nd half of the season and eventually got some run at the 2 before TyFreke returned for the playoffs. He also stepped in as the Hawks primary sub off the bench for most of the playoffs. His efficiency can improve some more, but he was efficient when it counted and was a lock for good defense, solid rebounding and my favorite for wing - positive stocks. I see him as a guy whose stats outperform his ratings. Looking for a good TC that can push ratings higher.
SIXTH MAN: Vit Krejci and Caleb Martin
I can't put my finger on one since they both contributed a ton off the bench. FEET can shoot the 3 ball as good as anyone in the league and Caleb is about as underrated a role player can get. Love these guys.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Vit Krejci
I supercamped him with low expectations and while he turns it over more than I'd like, he seems to a) pass it well enough where his total assists outweigh his TOs and b) shoot it as well as anyone which is not an expectation from a 22 year old. Krejci stepped in for a bunch of games at the 2 and played a lot better than expected. We finished with 57 wins last season with our 2nd best player out near 50% of games and DJ missing a handful. Without Vit we would've been much too shallow at the wing spot. One could argue FEET made the difference. If we don't win 57 and get homecourt advantage in a couple playoff series maybe things turn out differently.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: My two best bigs retiring, especially after using the GMOTY on DJ. I'm 2 for 2 on wasting GMOTY extensions.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: We did not make a trade last year. I think the 2 fellas we brought in this year show some promise and happy to take on 2 young notes guys / sons of NBA and SLN legends and see if we can develop them enough to be useful.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Tyrese Haliburton. Really awesome starting PG. would love to see his volume go up but his efficiency is incredible and his TOs are coming down. His steals are also nice despite probably not being a great positional defender.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Darius Bazley. Absolute stud doing 13 boards a game with 3.3 stocks to 1.6 TOs and efficient scoring. Hoping to see him take another leap in TC and with the defense pick em camp.
MOST IMPROVED: Also probably Bazley? He took a massive leap and is now a certified star.
SIXTH MAN: Harrison Barnes was awesome as backup 1-3 for most of the season. I just can’t quit that man.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Cade’s bad season. His TOs are just too bad to play him at the 1 and Barnes played so well at the backup 1-3 I just couldn’t give Cade meaningful minutes. Hoping he turns things around this season with another TC and a supercamp.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Cade. See above. I’m still optimistic on him but it was a tough season.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Bazley. I took a swing at the time and there was a lot of debate across the league whether I overpaid. In hindsight it looks great though.
REGRETS: none really. We’re still a couple pieces away but it was great to hover around .500 all season and watch Haliburton and Bazley blossom.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Aaron Gordon. He’s an absolute machine at the 3 and the 4. Does virtually no turnovers and shoots 7 FTAs per game at 90%
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
John Henson, he thin but his butt is round
MOST IMPROVED:
Didn’t really have someone eligible for this. I guess Marquese Chriss because he got to be a big
SIXTH MAN:
Terence Davis is freaking amazing. And he’s a gentleman with his resigning offer. +6 handles coming his way should help. He can really really score
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
How good Terence Davis was out of the NDL
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Whatever happened day 90–110
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Probably the Kawhi trade. Love TD. Tari will take some time. Chriss is solid. Hyped about Scoot with the 8th pick.
REGRETS:
Having to pivot younger. I miss Steph and kawhi

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Luka Doncic
Our big three were all huge for us last year, but the nod has to go to Luka - he got down to 2.6 TOs by the end of the season to go along with 30 / 8.5 / 11 - he's basically perfect. We'll cherish the three years we have him (smh Steven)
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Nerlens Noel
Nerlens had 4.0 stock to TO last year while anchoring our defense. He's the perfect big butt and complement to our scoring backcourt
MOST IMPROVED: Luka Doncic
I thought this would be Luka, but it's not really - he kinda had the exact same season he had last year. Instead, I gotta give it to Otto, who averaged 30 for the first time in his career despite playing with two other high-volume scorers.
SIXTH MAN: Jeremy Lamb
The Lamborghini had a completely insane season from an efficiency perspective, shooting 52% from the floor and 48% from three this season. We're sad to see him go in Chicago, but glad we took the risk on him and his contract a few seasons ago.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Winning a shit ton of games
We were a real threat to break the wins record for over half the season, after rolling out basically the same team that won 54 games the year before. I've felt that my team was kind of underperforming the last few years (as I'm sure most GMs feel about their own teams) but definitely didn't foresee being as dominant as we were (in the regular season...)
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Derrick Rose performing cunnilingus in the most pivotal moment of our season
The D-rose injury before Game 7 of our series against the Hawks was a huge bummer. The Bullets had an awesome season but with Linsanity in the past, it looked like a pretty good bet that whichever team won that Game 7 between us and the Hawks would be in the Finals with home court. Sigh
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Jalen WIlliams
If this is purely trades, then it's Blake, but I'm really happy with the minutes Jalen Williams played down the stretch when we were resting our starters and with Derrick Rose retiring, we'll need some help at the 2 sooner rather than later. Very excited to see his TC this offseason.
REGRETS: None, besides losing to the Hawkleheimer

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Steph Curry - Lavine got shipped so we got a new big dog in town. He scores so much, lots of fun to see weird box scores
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: OG Anunoby? He gets a lot of steals
MOST IMPROVED: Brandon Clarke - he turned into a bonafide rebounding king, with positive stock to TO and good shooting
SIXTH MAN: We tried a ton of people like Strus, Kennard, etc, I guess we will go Strus even though he ended up starting in the end
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Our run in the end of the season, aftr such a bad start, I thought we were bound to give up a good pick. Luckily we found a good DC and rattled off a bunch of wins and almost got to 41 wins, our pickem
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not ending up top 3 in the pickem, couldve used a brandon clarke D camp. Changed some ifnal picks last second and lost some easy games to not hit 41 games. Either of those wouldve gotten us in that top 3
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: The lavine trade. We actually did better after the departure of two of our starters, and got some good assets
REGRETS: Never any ever

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Kyrie. He changed the team around once he joined! He's the best.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Kyrie. Our shooting defense got much better when he joined.
MOST IMPROVED: LaMelo. He had a huge TC and is an awesome player at both the 1 and 2.
SIXTH MAN: Bane. Played the backup 1/2 for most of the season and showed improvement and scoring off the bench.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Chet. He was playable in year one and hoping for some more improvement before a supercamp next offseason
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Mobley. Surprised he didn't take the leap but hopefully this offseason's supercamp will help.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Kyrie and 2 picks for Mitchell. Kyrie is a superstar and top 5 player in the league and was able to get 2 picks with him. Nice!
REGRETS: Small... Not trading for Kazemi. Could have used another cheap big man for the playoff run.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: the zinger. will miss him. he is the reincarnation of pau gasol. it's romantic that he's similarly bouncing between the grizz and mavs
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: defense wasn't our strong suit but will hand this to dunn. 2 steals a game at the 2 is nice. Unfortunately the rest of his game never rounded out
MOST IMPROVED: Kira Lewis looks good after the supercamp
SIXTH MAN: Jarrett Allen. He is a useful player.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Zinger improving his boards
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Ingram, Dunn and Capela just never developing like I hoped. If one of them became a star I could've been moving picks to improve rather than tanking
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Moving the zinger for stuff
