Strengths: Great jump shot. Decent ability getting to the rim. Excellent quickness with good court vision. Solid man defender that might get a steal or so a game. Surprisingly capable rebounder for his size.
Weaknesses: Handles need some work. Outside range is very limited. Pretty undersized even at PG.
Scout's Take: TJ Ford is a lightning quick guard that mostly looks to pass first. He has a sweet jumper and can put up some crafty layups, but definitely isn't a score-first PG. He provides a lot of utility and could be a good starter if nurtured properly.
