Team Awards 29-30
Team Awards 29-30
TL;DR - free RPs for a quick post! Sorry for being late.
Get these done before the second sim of the season!
Every year, every GM's got his studs and it's duds, his craftiest moves and most embarrassing flops. For 75RPs, fill out the answers to the following questions and post it in the thread - think of these as your post-season Dundies, awarding each of the first 4 to players on your team, and then reflect on some of the key moments from your year. Post these whenever! Just get em done before sim 1. Offseason questionnaire will be posted later on.
Once you've posted, DO NOT claim your RP in the RP thread - we will calculate at the end.

MVP: Sengun! Absolute monster, glad he's a Pacer!
DPOY: Sengun! I think he's the only A+ defender in the file? Second place to Hansen.
MIP: Hm. Not a lot to go off of here since Lopez and Dooney were both uncamped and it was Labaron's first year in SLN. Maybe Hansen by default?
Sixth man: Hansen, was elite at backup 4/5.
Biggest surprise: How much better Looney and Thybulle made us, literally +5
Biggest disappointment: That Sinan hasn't translated all that well to SLN after being pretty good in NDL.
Trade of the year: Sengun by default, then Looney/Thybulle. Had a lot of fun trading last season1
Regrets: NONE!! I think?

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: end of the year it was definitely AG, but if we’re going full year probably godson or meleek. Both have been phenomenal for how young they are
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: tough between Jaylen brown and godson. Both are super nice stock/to and shit down opposing players
MOST IMPROVED: meleek takes the cake here. I put a lot of faith in him last season to be a good enough starting PG and he exceeded my expectations. Lotta praise for my boi
SIXTH MAN: Godson for sure. He can play anywhere backup 1-4 and stats stay relatively constant. TOs don’t spike and stocks stay super nice. From his scouts dudes got good post and perimeter d so the utility is amazing
BIGGEST SURPRISE: zubac rebounding going down as much as it did. went from 14 a game to 12 while staying at flat A rebounding. Hoping for a bounce back
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: zubac, same as above
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: gotta be getting AG without selling any of my top assets. Brown was a nice piece for RP but the AG trade put us in contention
REGRETS: potentially should have tried to push some more chip in at the deadline last year but honestly didn’t know which direction to go
