Strengths: Decent finisher in the lane, prefers to create his own shots. Solid jump shot and range. Decent vision and handles. Plays the passing lanes well. Good perimeter defender with good lateral movement. Probably leans to above average on the rebounding side. Good quickness.

Weaknesses: Needs to gain a bit of confidence scoring. Should probably hit the weights.

Scout's Take: Ariza has similar talents to his dad, but scouts feel his upside is higher on the offensive end. Defensively, he does everything you'd want from a wing defender and does it very well. He isn't a flashy prospect, but teams are confident he is an excellent piece that can slot into a 4th or 5th starter type role to tie a roster together.

Strengths: Shows flashes of incredible scoring potential. Good jump shot. Should get a lot of steals. Good strength and quickness. Solid rebounder.

Weaknesses: Overall game is raw. Handles need a lot of work. Defense is lacking but not unsalvageable.

Scout's Take: Scouts feel Arenas may have the best upside in the draft. He is very raw but has that superstar quality that you want out of a top pick. Future position could end up SG.
