Team Awards '25-'26
TL;DR - free RPs for a quick post!
Get these done before the tip of next season!
Every year, every GM's got his studs and it's duds, his craftiest moves and most embarrassing flops. For 75RPs, fill out the answers to the following questions and post it in the thread - think of these as your post-season Dundies, awarding each of the first 4 to players on your team, and then reflect on some of the key moments from your year. Post these whenever! Just get em done before sim 1. Offseason questionnaire will be posted later on.
Once you've posted, DO NOT claim your RP in the RP thread - we will calculate at the end.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Fox, for sure. Still carrying the load on offense and a top 5 PG in the league.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Drummond, anchoring the Pacers D for what seems like forever now.
MOST IMPROVED: Obi, had been interested in him in awhile and happy he blossomed in Indiana.
SIXTH MAN: Obi! Blossomed in his role as supersub. Scored a lotta buckets at good efficiency and positive stock to TO.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Bones Hyland being maybe the best backup PG in the league (if you don’t believe me look at his numbers!)
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: not making the playoffs; thought we had the juice but started to season too slow
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Definitely JDub. The wing we’ve needed for a long time!
REGRETS: Not making moves earlier to make the playoffs. Ending up 2 games out was tough.

Team Awards '25-'26
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Joker. We went from being not a contender without him to being a contender with him and he probably shot 49-50% after we got him. Totally changed the season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Victor took a huge leap in the steals department, blocked three shots per game and is super consistent on that side of the floor, covering for the occasional offensive cold game. Excited to see how much better he can get. Lonzo led the league in steals but I think Victor was our best defender. Amen, also great.
MOST IMPROVED: Wemby. He broke out around day 40 once we found the right DC and it never really stopped. Made the offensive jump he needed to be great and should keep getting better.
SIXTH MAN: CMB! One of the best third bigs in the league in his second year as a pro, I love this man a lot and his minutes helped cover for the departure of Scottie Barnes from the second unit immensely.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: The roster getting to a point where we could justify pushing to contend this fast. I have gotten incredibly fortunate in TCs the last several seasons and it wasn’t a certainty this would be the right year to get really good, so that was very enjoyable.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Falling just short in the playoffs. Felt we were right there up 2-0 but we ultimately got some bad breaks and flubbed the conference finals. No shame in losing to two all time great SLN studs in Kyrie and Turner though.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Jokic as stated above. Was able to move a tough contract, get off of Jackson’s re-signing risk, protect the draft pick I cared about and obv add a top five player, it changed a lot of things at once in a good way — I’ll miss those guys but it was night and day with how the team took off.
REGRETS: Maybe not tweaking my DC against the Knicks? But other than that nada.

Warriors TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jrue. The dude was .001% from giving a 50/40/90 line as a 35yr old playing 39.1mpg. Thats absurd imo. Still stock to turnover positive, almost 12 apg, and oh just another season of being snubbed all-SLN.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Mo Bamba. I mean i could give this to Mikal or Tatum but Mo had 3.5 stocks a game playing backup 4/5 for most of the season. Zubac is our anchor but Mo will make sure that a player thinks twice before coming in the lane again. Honorable mention is precious.
MOST IMPROVED: Mikal Bridges. Officially moved to SG pre-TC and he popped. If you go look at his stats, most of that is him being a non-option. Things changed when Tatum went down but holy shit am i thankful i traded for him. He became my true love on my team last season. Id be hyped to look at my team again just to see how he was doing.
SIXTH MAN: Mo Bamba…and lowkey Victor. I knew Mo could tear it up as backup 4/5 but i was surprised by Dipo holding down the backup 2/3 spots. League didnt notice it bc of the overall stats but when the team needed him, Dipo provided. The first unit doesnt skip a beat when either enter the game.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Uhm Zubac playing PF might be my project this season. I never tried it before the Nuggets series. His boxes were hilarious. I wonder if he could routinely get 20/20 games each sim there.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: I think it was just the Tatum injury. At the time, last season felt like the best moment for this team to make a run at it with the West being down compared to other seasons. It feels like Tatum cant catch a break in SLN. Im hoping for my pride that he bounces back from this injury and becomes the All-SLN guy, who carries us, I believe in him to be.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Drafting Frankenstein aka Egor Demin aka the Future PointGod of the Golden State Warriors. Somehow snagging Keon off waivers was the perfect influx of wing talent i needed as well.
REGRETS: Maybe not swallowing my pride and just making a couple bad deals that hindered the present but had potential booms for the future? Nah fuck dat! NO REGERTS BABYYY

Do I have to keep it brief??!?
TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Aaron Gordon. It goes without saying: a career year that led to a rich extension.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jose Alvarado. You can call him a "stopgap" but we saw immense value when it came to his perimeter defense. He's no star, but he has a chance to fill the Game Manager role again in 2026.
MOST IMPROVED: Cooper Flagg. I'm thrilled that after a clunky start, Flagg came on strong near the end of the season. With Flagg as the starting SG, the Nets closed the season 9-7 despite an immensely difficult schedule. Despite ups and downs from the field, he showcased his versatility.
SIXTH MAN: Zion Williamson. We denounce him IRL, but we accept him ISL (in sim league). Without Zion's scoring production, the Nets would have received a tanking penalty.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Rebounding from a 29-34 record to escape the tank zone. It looked impossible, and we're glad to extricate ourselves from that position and move forward. We will become a better franchise.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Keegan Murray. Murray did well as a top scoring option for the Nets in previous seasons. However, without being the center of attention, he's too passive and uneventful. A lot falls on our coaching staff to make him a valuable rotation player once again. If he can do this, he'll make our Media Guide.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Ricky Rubio (was Aaron Gordon in 2025? Don't care, we respect the Spaniard). The fans were on their feet as Rubio completed his farewell tour in the Northeast. It was a small move, though it demonstrated our commitment to improve the ballclub.
REGRETS: Difficulties of onboarding Kittles mid-season as opposed to early-season.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jaden McDaniels - Looking like he's on the verge of becoming a two way superstar.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Anthony Black - Postive stock/TO as a PG with blocks on the verge of becoming dominant.
MOST IMPROVED: Gradey Dick - looks like the supercamp stuck.
SIXTH MAN: N/A
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Anthony Black's volume - took way more shots than I was expecting.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Winning too many games during the final two sims which bumped us way back in the lotto.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Jaden McDaniels and Bucks 30 for Kristaps
REGRETS: None

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Anthony Davis, still a 2-way monster. 20ppg, league leading 14rpg, 4.6 stocks a game, efficient scoring, and manageable turnovers. All around superstar
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Anthony Davis, he's won DPOY 3 out of the last 4 seasons!! Has that ever been done before in SLN?
MOST IMPROVED: LeBron James, oh what the power of playing with your son does for ya. TOs went down nearly a full 1 and blocks went up. Everything else stayed mostly the same, he's aging like fine wine a bum.
SIXTH MAN: Skal, great 3rd big. Rebounds well, doesn't shoot much, fairly stocky. You'll always have a spot in DC
BIGGEST SURPRISE: LeBron still playing such a high level of ball. He's an elite rebounder and now very stock positive. Fun to see how he's changed over the course of his career
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Bronny not really getting better. If he had shown more signs of life he would have been supercamped this offseason. He's got one more TC to show me something otherwise he might be ditched once his pops retires.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Resigning Skal after not MLE extending him. Botched that but luckily Skal realized he has a good thing going in DC.
REGRETS: Not going after Kyrie harder. He wins championships, period!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Rui. It’s always Rui. The guy is so good. He’s probably underrated because he isn’t stocky. If the boards drop to B+, pray for yourselves cuz the SF box scores are outrageous
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Zach Edey. His blocks really took off after his block camp
MOST IMPROVED:
Probably Edey by default
SIXTH MAN:
Rui. It’s going to be renamed after him once he retires. Sorry Kris Clack
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Landing Jamal Murray. Didn’t think we were in a spot for a huge deal but just kind of made sense
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Reed Sheppard being a bitch and scratching Jamal’s cornea
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Jamal by default

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Markelle Fultz. He’s easily the best point guard I’ve had in this league… the game feels a lot easier when you have an elite two way point guard who can get an efficient 30 points while locking down the opponents PG.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Ben Simmons probably? He is stocky and fun. Absolutely not worth $20M / year for 4 years though. Am I salty though? Perhaps.
MOST IMPROVED:
Deandre Ayton shined his starting role after clearing more minutes for the big fella. An efficient 25 and 12 boards with flat A rebounding is very valuable. Dylan Harper also went +5 uncamped but never saw him sim before the season.
SIXTH MAN:
Ben Simmons is a great 6th man but he loves to go 3/17 and kill you too.
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Dylan Harper shooting 47% from the floor and getting 2.5 stocks on 1.2 turnovers. He’s going to be insane after his super camp next season.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Losing to the feisty nugs in the playoffs! That roster is super underrated and gave us problems in the regular season all year. Kawhi still v good.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Fultz baby!!
REGRETS:
My part 1 DC where I started Simmons at PG

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Ausar - he did a lot for us on a team that was bad
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Ausar - he did stocks baby
MOST IMPROVED: Ausar - he did some volume and cut down on those TOs and hit some free throws - NICE!
SIXTH MAN: Sexton - that man was so good, someone shoulda paid me minimal RP for him
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Sorber was already pretty dope out of the gate
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: That nobody wanted to trade for Colin Sexton
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: the many trades I made for sweet sweet RP
REGRETS - NONE!
