Greg Monroe
Strengths: Decent scoring in the post. Very good steals. Good post defender. Pretty good rebounder. Good strength.
Weaknesses: Subpar free throw shooter. Handles are iffy. Pretty slow.
Scout's Take: Monroe is an interesting big man prospect. He will score and board pretty well but he lacks the shot-blocking presence you want in the paint. However, he has quick hands and should create some turnovers against the less coordinated big men. He is slightly more polished than the typical draftee, and with proper attention, there's no reason to believe he couldn't find a starting spot in the league.
Ratings: Greg Monroe C 6'11'' 265 20 B- C- D+ B B- B
Stipulations: None
