players have to do stuff to score points
the stuff they do is shoot the ball, shoot free throws, and give the ball to the other team

the equation is points scored / (field goal attempts + 0.44 * free throw attempts + turnovers)

i have a lot of friends who support arsenal so i got a lot of experience explaining at this mental level
