Strengths: Bruising big man with strong interior post presence. Very good vision and passes out of double teams well. Strong defender that blocks shots and clogs the lane. Good rebounder on both ends of the court. Very good strength.

Weaknesses: Shooting touch isn't there. Decision-making could use some work. Quickness isn't great.

Scout's Take: EDJ is his old man cranked up to 11. Not afraid of contact, he plays hard in the paint on both ends of the court and crashes the boards. Exactly what teams are looking for. He shows a unique ability to find open teammates as well. Scouts feel he is in the discussion for the top pick.
