Strengths: Great slasher who can finish through contact. Decent jump shot. Good vision. Should get a steal and a block a game. Rebounds well. Good quickness and strength.
Weaknesses: Range isn't quite there yet. Handles need work. Can get lost defensively at times.
Scout's Take: Dooney is a unique player that can play all wing positions pretty well. He is a crafty finisher at the rim and looks to set up his teammates. Defensively, he struggles staying in front of his man, but that may be because he prefers to gamble on the passing lanes or contesting at the rim. Scouts are excited for the versatility and upside of The Kid.
