RP Hoard Scores // 2026-27
At the risk of over-engaging with our RP economy, I wanted to take a closer to look at how people were....or more specifically, were not....using RP's.I'm going to toot toot our horn and Ashes' horn and say that our system is working. This is the best I've ever seen ratings inflation curbed this far into a sim league's duration and I think by and large everyone is doing a great job. Ashes' sweet drafts and our RP discipline are the reasons why we can have these funky players still have value in 2027. Seriously: in other league's, the majority of players have "A's" across the board by now. The incentives have generally worked!
While scarcity in our RP system is the point, the system would work *best* if everyone WHO COULD actually use those beautiful reward points....would USE them. While the fed can inject $$ into the economy when it wants, that doesn't accomplish our goals if fellas are hoarding RPs and not using them to trade, scout, camp, use the ndl, etc. Should we find a way to transfer those points to those who will use them and stimulate our economy!? IDK!!!!
Check-out the "hoard-score" I made which basically scores each team's activity and spending vs. the RPs they have leftover at the end of the year.
If you have a ton of RPs, but aren't generating any or spending them, well ... try to!
