Strengths: Decent scoring at the rim and a very good jump shot. Good vision, quickness, and handles. Pesky defender that should get a steal or so. Solid man defense. Very good strength.
Weaknesses: 3P range still developing. Rebounding on the lower end if you're looking to play him at the 3.
Scout's Take: A bet on Butler is a bet on future buckets. He has all the tools to be a great scorer with time and development. Scouts feel his time at Marquette didn't prepare him to jump into the speed of the pros, so it may take him a bit to adjust. Excellent upside.
